A DUMFRIES performer will bare it all during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Alexander Maxwell started his Tartan Hens business after working in the hen party and events industry for three years. And now he’s heading to the capital in August for several free performances called ‘Bits N Bobs’ which includes nude life drawing and a drag show. Alexander said: “Our show at the Fringe is to have a laugh with drag queens, cabaret and a celebration of every human body. “The show has different themes each performance, ranging from Scottish to Disney. You name it, ‘Bits n Bobs’ will be doing it. “We want to provide unforgettable, risqué fun for all walks of life.” The former Dumfries High School pupil started his business – which is based in the town but covers mainland Scotland and Cumbria – last year and is looking forward to showcasing what Tartan Hens can offer.
