DUMFRIES Citizens Advice are on the move from next week. From Wednesday November 26 to Friday November 28, the citizens advice service will be moving from their old location at 81-85 Irish Street, to their new bureau and offices just a few yards along Irish Street at 109. The service will still be available during the move. Clients are asked where possible to call 0300 303 4321, or check out the self-help guides at www.dagcas.org in the first instance. Drop-in visits will still be available for those that have an emergency and no other way of contacting . Appointments will be by telephone or at one of the out-reach centres. Commenting ahead of the move, Phil Stewart, chief executive of Dumfries and Galloway Citizens Advice Service said: “We are doing all we can to minimise disruption during the move to ensure that no-one is left behind. “Please call us to book an appointment in all non-emergency cases.”
