A75 resurfacing continues

CONVOYS will be in place along the A75 this week as resurfacing works continue. The works taking place west of Bridge of Dee will be in place until Tuesday September 16 between the hours of 8 pm and 6 am. This work will require overnight convoys for the duration of this work, as well as overnight closures of the A711 junction for Kirkcudbright. Traffic will be diverted via the A762 at Tongland to join the A75 at Valleyfield, this diversion is expected to take around 6 minutes. Delays of no more than 4 minutes are expected during the convoy operations. Traffic management will be removed by 6 am on Friday. There will then be Temporary Traffic Lights in place between 8 pm on Monday September 15 and 6 am on Tuesday September 16 to complete the works. Access for emergency service vehicles will be maintained throughout these works.
