Teen who died in River Nith named

THE family of a teenager who died in Dumfries this week have released a picture of him. Benjamin Glen sadly died in the River Nith, in the Kingholm Road area of Dumfries on Thursday night. Police Scotland received a report of a person in the river. Emergency services carried out searches and the body of the 18-year-old was recovered. The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal. Benjamin celebrated his 18th birthday last week.
