Wood search man found

SEARCH dogs, helicopters, police and forestry workers joined together to successfully find a missing man today.

Earlier today a request was made for walkers to stay away from woods near Dumfries as a search was carried out for the missing man.
Chief Inspector Stephen Stiff said: “This was a well co-ordinated search over a very large wooded area which thankfully had a successful conclusion.
“I would like to thank the public for heeding our request to refrain from walking in the woods whilst the search was ongoing.”
Police were keen to make clear that this missing man was a separate case from Abdelnabi Alainini, who went missing from Midpark on Tuesday.
The search continues for Mr Alainini.
