A SECOND Annandale school partnership is on the hunt for a new headteacher.

Dumfries and Galloway Council this week confirmed that the head of the Johnstonebridge and Nethermill Primary cluster, Lesley Aitken, has left her position.
She has taken up a new post within education in the region and an acting headteacher has been appointed in the interim.
A spokesman said: “This means there will be a vacancy for a permanent partner head teacher and, as soon as the new session starts in August, the local authority will work with the chairs of the parent councils to recruit to this important post, with the aim to start after the October holiday.”
It comes just weeks after parents in the Hoddom-Hottsbridge-Eaglesfield partnership were told their headteacher, Hayley Hinch, was leaving.
A recruitment process will also start there with a view to appointing someone from October as well.
