LOCKERBIE Gala and ROM takes place today.

lockerbie crowning 2017

The fun kicks off from 8.25 am with the Crying of the Fair, the cavalcade led by Cornet George Forrest, Lass Joanne Howatson and Standard Bearer John Nisbet will flow through the high street at 1 pm and Gala Queen Emily Clark’s float will follow.

Meanwhile an afternoon of free fun has been organised at McJerrow Park.

Our photographer will be there to capture all the fun – so give him a smile if you see him!
