Two questioned over missing person

POLICE in Dumfries and Galloway say they have questioned two people in relation to a missing person in the region who has since been traced.

A short statement issued by police at Dumfries on Sunday read: “Two females have been arrested in relation to the offence of harbouring a missing person.”

Later, a spokeswoman for Police Scotland, added: “Two women, aged 19 and 20, are subject of a report to the Procurator Fiscal.”
